Why not get out of the house and celebrate 125 years of RACING AT THE ROCK by spending Australia Day at one of the most iconic venues.Hanging Rock.
Come out and enjoy the best Country Racing has to offer with a day at the ROCK which is located within the beautifull Macedon Ranges. You would struggle to find a more unique enviroment to enjoy a day at the races with family, friends or work colleages.
There is a range of activies available with Camp Australia hosting kids activities, kids foot races on the track , roving entertainment and the big screen on site to view all the local and metro racing.
The ROCK is only an hour's drive from Melbourne's CBD, Bendigo and Ballarat OR you can catch VLine to Woodend Station to be met by a free shuttle bus to the race course and then back again during the afternoon.
Gates Open at 10am
First Race is 12,36pm and the last 5.13pm.
Please note that our Liquor Licence does not permit alcohol to be brought on to the racecourse. Beach Umbrella's and Shade Structures not permitted within the racecourse for safety reasons.
